Recruting

The Members

      We are a group of volunteers from Tipton County who give our time to be there when we are needed to help the citizens or visitors in Tipton County.      

 

      The members of the TCEU are volunteers who give their free time to help others. They are on call 24/7 365 days a year, for nothing more than to know they helped someone at the end of a call.

 

        We spend time training for emergency events and proper operation while on water and land. We also respond to storm damaged areas and local natural disaster areas. We work and train with the local Fire Services, TWRA, Coast Guard and other surrounding Search & Rescue organizations.

Volunteering your time

New people are always welcome, if you would like to join the TCEU team please read the following.

 

New Member Requirements

 

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. Must live in Tipton County.

  3. Must come to the TCEU station to fill out an application.

  4. Applicants will have a back ground check ran.

  5. Applicants will be called before the Board of Directors for Q&A, then vote will be taken to accept applicant.

  6. If voted in the applicant will become a probationary member with a few restrictions to membership for six months, after six months with no infractions probationary personnel will become a full member.
