TCEU STATION

The Tipton County Emergency Unit station is located centrally in Tipton County. It has and office and training area with two large bays attached housing the TCEU's equipment.

EMERGENCY 1

Emergency 1 is a 1990 GMC Suburban 4x4 with lift kit and 10,000 pound wench. It is use to tow TCEU equipment and makes entry into difficult terrain areas.

EMERGENCY 2

Emergency 2 is a Chevrolet 2500 3/4 ton utility. It is use to tow TCEU equipment and carries additional equipment such as generator & lighting, chainsaws and rescue basket.

Boats 1 & 2 are the work boats of water search & rescue. The primary operation of Boat 1 & 2 most often will be drag operation. There advantage is the ability to accessing small waterways and tributaries.

BOAT 1 & 2

BOAT 3 & 4

Boats 3 & 4 are the support boats of water search & rescue. The primary operation is supporting the work boats by watching for other watercraft or any thing that may endanger the work boats while drag operations are under way. There advantage is the ability to carry more personnel and equipment.

ATV’s are used for land search & rescue. The primary operation of the ATV's are to provide transportation, transport equipment and assist in the recovery of patients. ATV 1 is a Honda Forman 4x4 four-wheeler with front mounted wench with mounts to carry rescue basket on rear. ATV 2 is a Yamaha Rhino 4x4 side by side with interchangeable front or rear mount wench.
